Jacob was a varsity player all four years of high school, and started three of those years at safety. During his three years as a starter, he totaled over 175 tackles. Jacob was the captain in both his junior and senior years. He was selected to second team All Conference as a sophomore, and All Conference as a junior and senior.
During his high school career, Jacob wrestled and ran varsity track and was All State in both. He is an active member in his church outreach program, Fire Up Friday, and has volunteered with the Special Olympics.
Jacob will attend Eastern Michigan University in the fall on a full-ride football scholarship. Jacob thanked, “God, for giving me the strength to continue this journey and my parents for keeping the doors open in their hearts.”
