Muneer started a total of 28 varsity games. He started out playing football for De Anza High School in Richmond, California. He played one varsity game his freshman year and started six games as a sophomore including two playoff games on the defensive line and as a shotgun snapper. In 2005, he moved to Dearborn. He made an immediate impact his junior year starting on both sides of the ball. His senior season was most memorable as he tallied 53 first hits, 9.5 sacks, and 4 deflected passes. The Tractors finished 5-5 his senior year with a first round loss in the state playoffs. Muneer was also named Co-MVP of his team.

Muneer also played varsity basketball for three years.

Muneer thanked, “all of my family members for supporting me. Special thanks to my mom for attending all my games and helping me stay positive. Thanks to Eman for helping me with the recruiting process.”He also thanked, “all of my coaches for showing me the way and preaching great words of wisdom and my teammates for every hard day in practice.”
