COACHES ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES DREAM TEAM, ALL-STATE SELECTIONS

For Immediate Release

December 18, 2019

LANSING – The Michigan High School Football Coaches Association has announced its largest All-State football team ever today, complete with individual All-State teams for every division in Michigan and a Dream Team.

"The MHSFCA is proud to recognize the top players in Michigan through our all state selections,” said Scott Farley, executive director of the coaches association. “We are also grateful for the opportunity to partner with the National Football Foundation with our Dream Team awards and banquet.  Promoting and growing the game of football is MHSFCA's mission and this program is a great example of that mission in action!"

The team was selected by a panel of high school football coaches across Michigan. The only requirement to make the team was a player had to be nominated by a coach who has membership in the MHSFCA.

Chosen to each 11-man All-State First Team were a quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, a tight end, five offensive lineman, four defensive lineman, three linebackers, four defensive backs as well as an athlete and a specialist. The 8-man All-State team includes a quarterback, four skill players, three offensive linemen, a specialist, three defensive lineman, two linebackers and three defensive backs.

The MHSFCA also has chosen coaches of the year by region.
