Christian Bronson was a three-year varsity letter winner in football at Jackson High. He was named to the All Capital Area Activities Conference and to the Jackson Citizen Patriot All Area teams, in both 2007 and 2008. Christian was voted by his teammates to receive the Ben Willard Award for most commitment to the team and was elected as a team captain. Christian is the 12th Viking to be selected to play in the MHSFCA All Star game. Christian will continue his football career at Wayne State University in the fall.
    First and foremost, Christian thanked his, “Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for blessing me with my life and the opportunities that are about to come my way.” Christian thanked his mother and father for “teaching me the lessons in life that will allow me to live a prosperous and successful life and my grandma Morada for being the glue that holds the family together and for being so loving.” Christian also acknowledged his love for his Aunt Sharr and Uncle Jesse and thanked them “for being such great role models. They are truly my heroes.” He thanked his teachers, friends, teammates and the Jackson High coaching staff, especially Coach Fairly and said, “Without his guidance and teaching this opportunity would not be possible.”
    Last, but certainly not least, Christian acknowledged the late Anthony Jamille Stephens, “a dear friend and teammate who was taken much too soon from us all. The examples that Anthony set in life will stay with me forever.”
